Educational Collaborators 1-Day Workshop: Intro Design Think Educators

This workshop will focus on ways to infuse design thinking within a school’s instructional program, starting with the basics of design thinking: terminology, frameworks, exercises, & mindsets. Participants will have the opportunity to complete a rapid, full lap of the design thinking process including empathy interviews, fast-paced ideation, and low-res prototyping.

Participants will:

• 1) Gain an introductory understanding of the design thinking process.
• 2) Recognize the value of design thinking as a framework to build deeper learning capacity and agency in their students.
• 3) Explore design thinking mindsets and how they can be used in everyday classroom experiences.
