GoGuardian AdDeflect Premium Add-on for DNS Filter (School Subscription)

AdDeflect is a premium add-on option for GoGuardian DNS filtering. If enabled, a large number of ads will be blocked from all devices on the specified network. The purpose of AdDeflect is to help teachers gain more instructional time by helping students stay on task by removing distractions such as ads. AdDeflect has the power to block ads from websites and YouTube, shielding students from distractions. This feature eliminates user tracking which also increases students’ privacy.

AdDeflect will block the majority of pop-up ads as well. This depends on whether that popup source would have originated from one of the hosts in the dataset.

Here is a sample of a webpage. A gray overlay with “Advertisement” will block the majority of all distracting ads.
